A strategy deck can be beautiful and still fail to move a single customer, colleague or pound.
Decks are fine as containers. The problem starts when the container is mistaken for the thing inside it, like admiring a lunchbox during a famine.
Useful strategy changes choices. It says what matters, what does not, what is worth funding, what must be stopped and how the organisation will know it is working.
The next step is capability. People, processes, data, platforms and partners have to be arranged so the strategy has somewhere to live. Otherwise it becomes an annual ritual: admired, filed, quietly contradicted.
Veriteer designs strategy and capability together because the work is not finished when the sentence is elegant. It is finished when the organisation can act.
